The Douglass Cemetery is located about five miles from Mountain Home on Baxter CR 344. From Mountain Home, take State Highway 5 South to the intersection of Baxter CR 53 (Old Tracy Ferry Road). Turn left (East) on CR 53 and travel about 3 1/2 - 4 miles to the intersection of Baxter CR 344. Turn right (South) on CR 344 and the cemetery is at the end of the road. The cemetery is marked with a sign on CR 53 and is easy to locate. The cemetery is active, well maintained, and has many graves. It seems to have been established in the late 1800's, with the earliest marked grave being from 1898.
Note: The cemetery arch sign has the spelling as Douglass (with double s). In other sources, the cemetery is called Douglas (one s), and the surnames for members of the Douglas family seem to be spelled with a single "s" as well. Since the sign has the double "ss" spelling, that is what I am going to use here.
