Meeks Family Cemetery found in Gamaliel area

     There is a small burial site located in the Gamaliel area that I will call the Meeks Family Cemetery.  It is located on the Meeks Farm in the 10,000 block of State Highway 101 North in the Gamaliel area on the West side of the roadway.  The cemetery is in a field immediately adjacent to a private residence.

     There is only one gravestone in the cemetery.  It reads, "Meeks, Mother Rachel C. 1863-1938, William H. 1861-19__".  The gravestone is faded and eroded making it somewhat difficult to read.
