Cooper Cemetery is between Monkey Run and Midway off State Hwy 126

The Cooper Cemetery is located at the end of Kinsdale Ln. off State Highway 126 between Monkey Run and Midway. From Mountain Home, take State Highway 178 West (also known as WEST RD) West bound to the intersection of State Highway 126 (about 5 miles). Turn right (North) on State Highway 126. Go about 1 1/2 miles and Kinsdale Ln is on the left. The oldest marked grave is 1864, although early unmarked burials are probable. The last burial seems to have occurred in 1991. The cemetery seems to be only nominally active as of 2010.

Some mowing and maintenance had been provided for several years by Mr. Steve Hammack, who has family at rest here, and Baxter County Jail inmates also began mowing the cemetery in the summer of 2012.  A new sign has been placed at the cemetery as well.

Cemetery entrance is at Hwy 126 N @ Kinsdale Ln.

A new sign was erected on July 9, 2012.
